Roadway Traffic Management Embracing Digital Safety

Roadway TM has been making major strides in digital traffic management by deploying the Intellicone® Incursion Prevention and Warning System (IPAWS) across two night-time full carriageway closures in Darlington Street, Wolverhampton and Moseley in Birmingham while they carried out resurfacing and other associated operations.

One of Roadway TM’s key goals is to bring systems like our Intellicone® Incursion Prevention and Warning System into the local authority environment to demonstrate the real world benefits the system brings like protecting the workforce, managing risk, improving situational awareness on site and potential to reduce costs across the site by removing the workforce from the frontline.

Both sites were overseen by Area Manager Jamie Reardon who highlighted the difference the Intellicone® Incursion Prevention and Warning System (IPAWS) makes:
